Have I Been Caught Out?

Hi,

I bought some spark plugs second off someone on the other forum. I thought they were genuine Honda parts.

The box says NGK. Part Number IFR7G-11K [98079-5717V]

However in the boxes are Bosch sparks - Part Number FR5DPP222.


Is this correct? Did the guy purchase these from Honda? Or did he buy some cheapo sparks and put them in genuine Honda boxes?

I just checked his ad and he has done nothing wrong - its my fault. I assumed that by his wording and photos of genuine boxes that the plugs were from Honda.

a genuine honda oil filter and 4 bosch platnum spark plugs which are expensive from honda. will take £25 for both (SOLD)

Let's take this incident as a lesson learned. Always read the whole thread thoroughly before handing over your money.

To be fair, they're Bosch Platinums, so not too shabby. £25 is about the going rate for them.
