right i'm having a recon engine put in by a company which specialises in jap cars rather than riskin 1 from ebay, it comes with a 6 month warranty but is based just under 100 miles away from me. what should i be lookin, listening, feeling for before i sign the costomer satifaction form and drive it away just to get it home and then have to take it back? also its a jdm engine and my car is a uk, is this a wise choice?
cheers peeps

Welcome to the forum :D .

Really mate TBH I would have asked the question about where to get this work done first, as there are some Traders on here wo carry out this type of work on a regular basis.

As for what to listen out for, just the same normal stuff you would listen out for in any engine. Bit hard to say, it may rattle a tad once its put in but should bed down onto the mounts rather quick I would have thought.

Have a read through this thread..

They conversions mainly but maybe drop them a line.
