Head units

Done a fair bit of browsing in the section and couldn't find the information so thought i would ask.

When swapping out the OEM head unit for an aftermarket, along with the fascia what else is required to connect the new unit? Radio adapter? Harness adapters?

The head unit i have bought for the Civic has sat dormant long enough and is going in this week!

I didn't need one for mine, all I needed was the wiring adaptor

Aslong as the wiring harness is correct. Its very straight forward. My Civic is an Import so I had to purchase a harness. Press sure yours will have straight fitment. If you find it doesn't fit directly during fitting. Pop to Halfords and all the variable harness' are there for around £10-£15.
