Headlamp adjustment switch

Hi all,just like bit of advice from you guys,i have a 52ctr and noticed that the headlamp adjustment switch on the dash doesnt light up when the lights are on like the rest of the switchgear.A friend of mine has an 05 sport and that does light up with the lights so wondered if it was a problem with my switch or are all the pre-facelifts the same.Cheers.....

never noticed to be honest, i'll check mine (52 plate) on the way back home after work today.

had a look, and yes it does light up.
