Heat Wrap

Hi guys,

I was thinking of getting this heat wrap for my DC Sport Exhaust manifold.
How effective are heat wraps? Any noticeable improvement?

I've heard that good heat wrap can help increase power by helping to promote higher velocities in the exhaust system, it will also keep engine bay temps down...

would you not rather go for Zircotec coating? its maintenance free! whereas you need to keep checking heat wrap!

What exactly is Zircotec coating?
However, the heat wrap should not unwind or tear up no?

I'm sure I have read that heat wrapping can increase the risk of cracking. I wouldn't bother personally.
