Help track rods

Messages

Hi iam in middle of changing track rod ends when doing the nut up with the spilt pin how tight is it supposed to be doesn't seam to be going tight

The ball joint may be turning with the nut. Put a bit of pressure on the bottom of the ball joint with a jack and try tightening it after that. That lift will stop it turning so it can be torqued up.

There's a torque setting for everything! But until it's tight will do if you haven't got the settings.
