HELP - What does 4 indicator flashes mean on pre-facelift

Evening,

Was wondering if you lot could help, when locking my car the indicators have stopped flashing the usual once, they now flash 4 times.

It's an 02 Pre-facelift, alarm sensors in the a pillars.

There is a pint/paypal equivilent for anyone who can tell me what that means as I'm at my g/f's house at present.

I'm thinking possibly it means low battery?

The definitive answer would be nice though.

Paul when I had my 02 plate CTR mine flashed four times and it turned out to be a fault with the bonnet alarm sensor.

Bonnet alarm sensor or internal sensors are alarming at time of setting.

Yeah,
I looked at the manual for the alarm. Apparently 4 flashes on arming is completely normal.

If the door is ajar, bonnet open, boot open etc when you arm, the alarm will emit a chirp to warn you, and flash 4 times.

On disarm it will flash one long flash (assuming the alarm has'nt been triggered)
