Hollogramming after Polishing....

Hi,

Yesterday i polished the doors on my Clio (the car is black) and today, once the sun came out... I have seen that i now have the hollowgram effect? I used Autoglym Super Resin Polish, using a foam application pad and then buffing off with a Autoglym Perfect Polishing Cloth.

Can anybody point my in the right direction as to how i have managed this and how to stop it happening again.

This is what i feared

Don't really fancy forking out £100 on a Machine Polisher. And using one puts the fear of god in me! Have you used one before?

A PC is what ya want mate.
I've used one under supervision :lol:
But the idea of a PC over a rotary is you shouldn't be able to do irreversible damage unless you are using something like a wool pad & aggressive polish.
