will the standard fn2 TB fit onto the RRC? I know it will need a remap at the same time just trying to work out rough total cost and then get it all booked in to go!

Yes, I had that setup for a while and it ran ok without a remap while I was waiting for the FD2 throttle body to arrive.
 
RBC is better suited to the EP3 as it is closer matched in terms of iacv ports. RRC can be done, you just need to factor in blanking off posts IIRC.
