Hi guys,
I'm looking at buying a kpro from cpl racing when they return from the Christmas holidays,
Has anyone dealt with them or bought a kpro from them before?
I've never heard of them so I could do with some info,
Thanks in advance
Callum

Summary of my reply to your PM. ;)

CPL are the main UK Hondata distributors. From what I've heard though, they can try to sell you other stuff along with what you wanted, sometimes unnecessarily, so just bear that in mind. It might not always be the case, I've personally never dealt with them other than them trying to strong arm me on another forum on my build thread, which didn't work. I'm sure they have many happy customers and it's usually the horror stories that find their way onto the net rather than the good news stories, but that's just the way it is.

Kpro allows you to remap your engine.

Basically I wouldn't advise trying to do that yourself and leave it to a professional. Depending where you are, then I would recommend Paul at TDi-North in Warrington or Romain at Eurospec in Guildford. The two best in the country. Both of those can supply Kpro.

You can disable the immobiliser with Kpro, assuming it is the Honda immobilser and not an aftermarket one fitted to the car. Just be wary that if the car gets stolen while it is like that, then your insurance company won't pay out on the theft if they find out. If you re-enable the immobilser then you will need to get the key re-coded.
