How do you stop the vibrating inlet manifold cover

I was told how I could stop this. Something to do with placing a washer on each screw but I did that and it hasn't helped :?
 
You put the washers between the cover and the manifold, i had to use 2 on each screw. :wink:

Righty, thanks mate. I will stick another washer on each side.

Doing my nut in now. When the engine is cold it vibrates and sounds horrible :(
 
Make sure the cover goes back on straight or it still touches the intake manifold even with washers and rattles like feck.

Just take it off, thats what I did 8)
 
Erm the washers doesnt work for everyone !!!

You need to do the advanced dealership mod.....



Bend the brackets back slightly !!!!

Bracket?? It just bolts directly to the inlet manifold..... there's nothing to bend.....
