how much brake fluid do i need???

thinkin flushin out the old stuff out.... how much do i need to replace it

I need to do the same mate and have been told 1 litre or 1.5 litres so am buying more to be on the safe side.

Was thinking DOT 5.1 but have been told that DOT 4 is just as good nowadays.

Still havent sorted out what to use yet

Use Motul RBF600.
Its the best fluid you can get at a decent price.

iirc I bought a 1ltr bottle and a half ltr bottle, but I have half the smaller bottle left, you may get away with 1ltr, as I boiled the fluid I wanted to make sure there was no chance of any of the old stuff left, so got my mate to keep going even when it was clear.
