How the deuce do you lift the rear bench?

As above, want to Hoover under it but cannot get it up (ooh errr) for the life of me! It's like it's locked in place in the middle but I don't want to break it by yanking it too much. Any tips? Am I being a complete newb?!

Not 100% but Im sure the front lifts up first, then the back pulls over towards the front seats.

Tom's right, it's the front that lifts. Just give it a good tug and it will pop free.

there's a 10mm bolt that fixes the back of the bench to the body. It's about 1 third of the way (from memory) along from the left (beside where the seat belt buckle pops through from behind. Loosen that, then grab the front left of the bench, about 10 inches from the left and give it a quick tug upwards. then do the same on the right hand side.
