Hum coming from engine

Does anoyone else have a quiet hum coming from the engine? It can be heard from when inside the car and seems constant but no idea if this is normal or not. I can't work out where its coming from in the engine but i can hear it humming.

Is this normal?

Check if your ivtec cover is clearing your intake manifold.

Ok will do although its more of an electrical sounding hum than a mechanical one but you never know so I will check.

Yeah, ivtec cover, mine did this and took the cover off.

Is the humming noise more of like plastic rattling?

My cover did this the other day aswell had a wee look at thats what it was.

My technical fix for this was to bend the bracket slightly.
