Hydraulic steering for EP3

So.... would it be easy to convert the EP3s electric steering system to the hydraulic system from a DC5?

Has anyone on here done this?

What parts would I need?

Is it a ball-ache to do?
 
It's been done. You need the rack, pump and reservoir from a DC5 apparently.

Speak to some of the well known tuners about getting it done, they'll know what the crack is.
 
I thought the EPS felt lighter than I wanted, but when I had the LSD fitted it now feels weighted as if it were hydraulic, happy with that.
 
Would love an lsd! I'll maybe look into converting to hydraulic if it isn't too much expense and hassle...
 
I doubt you are, but in the unlikely event that you're looking into running ITBs that most don't work with the DC5 hydraulic system.
