Idle learn procedure

Hi all, I think I've accidentally reset my engine ecu, now my revs drop down to 500 then go back to normal. I've had a look around and am going to try relearn the idle position. I've found the procedure, I just wondered though if anyone knows if you can do it hot or cold or if it even matters?
Thanks
Darren

Did mine awhile back had the same problem with the revs dropping then going back up. I warmed mine up for 10 mins, parked back up and turned it off and pulled the fuse out. Put the fuse back in and started up the car and let it idle for 10 mins without anything on or touching it then took it for a spin which cured the problem :)

On the ATR, generally wait until the fan kicks in.

Whether that's the same on other Type R's I don't know.

Cheers mate I'll give that a try, that's not the procedure that I've found but if it works it works

i switch kpro with ori ecu and i never have this problem
i have that (drop to 500rpm) only when iacv on tb was dirty, cleaning it will help

Yea, I warmed the car up, switched it off, removed fuse 6, left out for a min, refitted, started the car up and held the revs at 3k for about 4 minutes then let it idle for about 10 mins turned it off and was all sweet. This is the correct procedure http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2962508.
Either way doing this fixed my problem.
