can somone explain the nature behind upgrading the inlet manifold and what needs to be ported etc etc.....

well all i keep hearing some guys fitting the rbc inlet and port matching them whats that all about.....

It means matching the diameter of the inlet manifold to the throttle body, so a 70mm throttle body can be attached to an RBC for example with an adaptor, but you're best off porting the rbc to 70mm for maximum gains.

Standard EP3 throttle body is 64mm IIRC.
