2 bolts on steering coloumn joint
2 bolts holding the electric motor on the rack
2 nuts holding the rack to the body
Pull rack out passenger wheel arch
unbend the washers that go over the steering arm bracket
Take 2 adjustable wrenches, size on for the hex on the steering arm, the other use as leverage on the bracket and undo each
Remove the 2 bolts that hold the bracket on the rack
Hi, I jacked it up took wheels off then took the air filter off, turned the rack slider to the nearside to access, then changed in position without removing the rack, a little awkward but easily do-able in place.....
Yeh iv been looking at the inner tie rod tools you can buy on eBay most of them are from the us but there is one made by lazer at only £12 so I'll give that a go might even try the double nut on the end of the rod if I feel strong.
