Just got my renewal quote through today from Lloyds TSB been with them 3 years since I purchased CTR got it at 23 with 3 years no claims paid £800 fully comp first year then £650 and last year £500.

I am now 26 (27 in Feb) 6 years no claims and renewal quote is £1100 WTF more than I paid at 23 cant believe it. Got to go through hassle of getting quotes now :evil:
 
I'm 21 and I insure with Admiral at the moment, I was randomly looking at renewal quotes and I got one from Elephant which was very good! Just over £600 so can't really complain.

Try adding a family member onto your insurance if you can, you will be surprised how much discount you get!
 
LloydsTSB have never been competitive on any car insurance quotes for me. It might be that you postcode has been upgraded in risk by their underwriters or they have suddenly decided they don't like CTRs.

Vote with your feet. I'm sure a confused/moneysupermarket/go compaire quote would put that to shame, never mind if you took the time to ring round some of the specialists.

As Davebod89 has said, try adding a family member. My quote went down around £150 by adding the wife! :lol:
