Who would have thought a plastic funnel on the tip of your intake could be so effective?

Solid line is the base configuration:
- 2.5” Mandrel bent exhaust (two mufflers)
- 2.5”, 200 Cell Sports catalytic converter
- 4-2-1 header with 2.5” collector
- Stock head & block
- Plastic Intake manifold gasket
- Aftermarket Inlet manifold
- 70mm Throttle Body
- 76mm Cold Air Intake
- Piggy Back ECU

Dotted line is the addition of a BPI velocity Stack and k&n cone filter

- Air temperature in dyno cell was between 11-14 °C.
- Air pressure was between 1010-1018 millibars
- Tyre pressure maintained at 32 PSI on 215/40/17 tyres
- All runs taken while engine coolant temperature was between 81-84 °C.
Each configuration change to the intake is run 3 times with the best value taken forward. We ran a buch of other configurations, the graph above shows the best one!

i had one of those bad boys on my old car, mated with a k&n aswell, never got it rr but seemed to perform well.

How does it work? Does it just increase the velocity of the air flow on open cone filters?

that is quite a impressive result, where hove you mounted the trumpet? in a fog light hole or somthing?

Its mounted in the same place as a normal CAI, I've since fitted a shorter k&N that fits behind the bumper properly.

Some vids so you can hear the devils trumpet
