Ive stripped many parts off my DC2 and finally got round to weighing them with an accurate digital luggage scale.

Thought i would put these up if others wanted to know.

Air con pump 6.1 kg
Air con rad 2.5 kg
Air con fan 1.8 kg
Air con tensioner 0.5 kg
Exhuast manifold cover 1.0 kg
Rear wiper & arm 0.3 kg
Rear wiper motor 1.2 kg
3rd brake light 0.6 kg
Front speakers 1.2 kg
Front mud flaps 0.4 kg
Aerial 1.0 kg
Boot support bar 3.5 kg
Plastic behind boot support bar 1.0 kg
Underside of boot plastics 1.8 kg
Boot tools, wheel brace, screwdriver etc, jack not inc 0.7 kg
Spare wheel 11.7 kg
Wooden spare wheel cover 4.0 kg
Parcel shelf 2.7 kg
Rear bench seat 3.0 kg
Rear seat backs 9.0 kg
Rear seat belts 1.8 kg
Rear seat belt sockets 0.4 kg
Os & ns rear plastics 4.4 kg
Boot carpet 2.0 kg
Fixings 0.5 kg
Resinator box 2 kg
Oem ukdm shocks & spings 19.2 kg (fronts 5 kg each rears 4.6 kg each)
Oem ukdm air bag steering wheel (not momo) 3.7 kg
Ukdm standard exhaust manifold 9 kg

Spare wheel - 11.7kg.

Pick up cheap (hopefully not too tatty) aftermarket lightweight racing alloy, replace, save kg and keep function, also removing speed restriction!

Good lad putting up a list of all the weights. We have one of these on the MR2 oc, and it's useful for those who want to do some selective auto dieting.
