I'm going to order some brake fluid for my ctr track car. Is the higher dot better?

I though it was but I've seen on here a lot of people saying use rbf600 and I no nothing about brake fluid

Thanks

dot 4 or 5.1- definitely not dot5

Go by wet and dry temps and cost and get the best you can afford

RBF600/660, AP, Performance friction gets my vote, I run Castrol SRF on mine and although a little pricey it has my full reccomendation.

I believe the only difference between Dot4.1 and Dot5.1 is the boiling point. So really it'll make no difference at all unless you're on track.

as Hasnic says, get some Motul RBF600 .. Remember buy cheap and buy twice !
I use this on mine and never boiled it yet and I do give the brakes a good going.
