I need some new pads and discs (have managed to warp my discs again )

Anyway as when i get back from holiday in April I will be selling my car I am not going to go for Ferrodo Pads this time.

Anyways Ben works for Honda - he has spoken to the parts dept and he can get honda standard pads and discs for my car for £200 (Pads (£115 and Discs £85) then he gets 20% discount of that.

Is this a good price for them?

As I before have paid £90 for Ferrodo Pads so this seems a bit dear to me?

Or I may as well just get Ferrodo pads??? As they are super pads!!! 8)

If your selling the car Nat then just get Honda discs and pads IMO. Price is good with the 20% discount surely :)

Are you running the DS2500 pads?

If thats the case on OEM disc's with mild / heavy use this is the effect these will have.

Honda OEM Disc & Pads should be fine

£115 for Honda pads??? :freak:

Thats is a bit much.

DC5 pads are £35 + VAT from Honda however the disc's are 147+VAT each!

Yeah there the ones.

Third time this has happened now - apparently I brake too hard and too late :!:

I just thought it was expensive as how can honda pads be more than ferrodo pads? :?

I depends what you going to be using the car for?

If its normal every day road use Honda OEM or Like wise set is ideal.

If its more track based stuff, then its a wise idea to start looking in to uprated brake discs and pads.

As Smeg said above, if your selling the car there is no point uprating some parts of the car?

Or another option is the get the discs re-sufaced - Tom @ TGM can help you out there.
