ITG competition air filter

just got my CTR a few months ago and it already had an ITG air filter fitted
just wondering if they ate any good or should i be looking for a new one?

Is this the air filter thats a big carbon box or just the drop in filter that sits in the stock box?

its just the one that drops in the box

IF you want to stay with a drop in Filter the ITG is a very good one, but you won't see any real gains from it, maybe 1hp!

So it's good at what its designed to be as its cleanable and shouldn't need to be replaced but if you want power then there are better complete kits available

The ITG box has proven gains aswell mate, best low down torque of the lot IIRC so its horse for courses between those 3 IMO.

But for a drop in filter the ITG is one of the best around.

If thats aimed at my first post, the ITG maxogen is also a carbon box.

GruppeM is the one that has been shown to make the most gains with and without the Kpro
