JDM EP3 no side repeaters

Hi guys just wondered why the import pre face ep3 type R has no side repeaters in the wings yet they are passing mot's. Are these not required because they are an import. A quick google image search will show lots without but some with ( might be uk version painted white mind )

any one know know the answer

Pre facelift should have them in the wings as u say & facelift models have them in the wing mirrors
If they dont have ether then they shouldnt realy pass a uk mot

That's weird as I have a jdm ep3 with no side repeaters and t has passed two mot's but I am thinking of selling it in the near future

Mayb its had a friendly tester or the tester/s have just missed them

If the fronts are visible from level with the rear of the car 1m out then that's ok. I'm a tester. Have passed similar.
