Jimbothemagnificent's unmagnificent '85 Civic

It really is. I was planning a very similar colour scheme, but with dark grey on the bottom and light on the top. But, after looking at this everyday for a month I think I may steal this scheme.

Anybody have experience of painting old school plastic bumpers? I know you can get plastic primer, but I've never tried it.

Not on old bumpers per say... But I have to use plastic primer when I'm spraying 3D printed stuff at work. It's a little difficult, but no more so than applying lacquer. Give it a shot mate, maybe go the scrapers and grab any old bit of trim to
practice on first!

Update?

Dear Jamie

I've been thinking about our relationship, and I reflected and came to the conclusion that our history can not go forward.

We live in different countries, have different goals and believe that a relationship like that, the distance is not compatible with my plans.

You're important to me but right now I'm very focused on building a future for me. I do not have to be in a relationship with you because I do not feel able to give you love and attention as you deserve.

You have a beautiful soul, a huge heart but unfortunately I do not think it's fair we take this relationship forward. And I do not have physical or financial conditions to keep it all.

I hope you understand and we can still be friends

When you can we can have skype.

Sincerely Yours

Josy

How's that for brutal? No warning, just an email, hasn't even replied to my response.

So plenty of free monies for the civic now . Unfortunately I was hit by a old woman in a diahatsu less than 12 hours later, so I'm in an arm cast and tripping balls on codine.

BUT, it takes more than that to keep me down. Doing some more rust repair as soon as I'm ambulatory. Still got a surprise sitting in the garage too, though it needs a bloody good cleaning and some custom fabrication before it's revealed.

Sounds like something from a sitcom bud. Hope you're on the mend from both.

Steer clear of any car repairs though. "Comes in threes," springs to mind.

Lol, yep, I'll be back on it in no time.

I figure I got all my bad luck for the year done and dusted within 24 hours, stubbed my toe that morning too. Bring on 2015.

Oaft lol.

Hope your alright after the crash and well, she could just of said she wasn't a Honda girl.
Onwards and upwards sir.

Next time I try bump a thread I hope it's not got the same kinda reply.

Very true buddy, there is an awful lot of of fannies around here....

Plenty to occupy myself with, especially now that McStudly has got me thinking about the next step on the JDM Yo ladder.

Ouch from the lady friend. Was she forign or something? Sounds quite google translate-y.

Double ouch from the granny bashing. Compo claim and jail the bitch.

Porn.

A few good shots of the spoon civic there I hadn't seen, never noticed the air jacks before either. Ooft.

That Mugen civic was what started me on this journey, it's where my love of Hondas begun. One of my all time favourites from Gran Turismo. Weapon. Apparently it pulled 1g lateral on torsion bars and cut oem springs during a test on Suzuka . The racing heritage of these rivals the AE86, I'm surprised they don't have a bigger following.

+1 for the Mugen Motul Civic on Gran Turismo. Lost count of the amount of times it saved me after entering corners at silly speeds!

It was the first thing I thought of when seeing the Magnificent Mobile the first time. Get the decals on! ;)

Welshy, go tune up a normal one on GT6, it's comedy gold how fast they go around corners.

Jamie, I've been following Kel's build on Red Pepper Racing forum. He and his Dad have done amazing things with that car, especially considering her only bought it a couple months before I bought mine! Giving me lots of inspiration to strip mine down once the EP3 is up and running again.
