Cheers Neil, i kept checking after each session to see if it had moved but it was really stable all day!:D

Just got to be a bit careful with the noise now, i will be short shifting trying to keep the noise down.

I've got a JP system on order same as TP & Seano's on the TDI TA car to try and get the noise down but they can't do it until the 13thApril!:eek::(

Then down to TP the day after to just check fueling, power output & Map is still safe.:D
 
Well not that i have too much time on my hands or anything, but just watched all the vids then loads of others on youtube for the same day to see if your car went passed so i could here how loud the exhaust is. No luck.
Oh well.

Found a good one of that GTR trying to keep up with what looks like a ultima.

Your cars amazing by the way. Can't wait till mines fully track preped.

Shame you didn't get a nice clear bit of track with that black evo. Would of been fun.

Julian, Have you not got a Db meter mate?
Also, before the noise test have a nice run so engine nice and warm and it MAY get a little quieter.

Yeah thanks mate, i had loads of fun in it @ Oulton.

I reckon me & the Evo would be a close run thing on an empty track, looked pretty suped up though spitting flames.:twisted:

Jase i had it noise tested @ Oulton before i did any track days just be on the safe side, 97db on static.
They clocked me @ 107 on a drive by in the afternoon sesion and wouldn't let me out again. I reckon part of the noise could have been from other cars, for it to be 10db louder than @ 6000rpm i don't know if thats right or i could have hit the limiter just when i was going past the noise meter at the side of the track?
 
Epic driving skills mate, i imagine it won't be long until i can say "yeah i know that guy in the civic" and everyone will go "oooooh"

Whichever wheel you go for i think will look good on your car.:cool:

The Advans make the Rays look tiny though as the spokes go to the edge of the wheel and they are wider, they look more like 18's!

Got some more bits done to the car today @ Unit 8, really happy with how the car has come on it's very nearly finished once the paintwork & graphics are done.

Thanks to Mark & Stevie again for fitting me in and doing a top job on it!:cool:

Fitted the advans yesterday, fitted Pagid RS Blue pads today, defi's are in and some bits carbon wrapped by Owen @ Slik Graphics.:D
