No no fault colds, someone mentioned that my timing is slacking, i know it needs doing as the cars on 143k

Hear say from previous owner did say when i got there, then he went i think it has, then got back to i dont think so, so obviously it hasnt so ***** get that done next.

If the car was struggeling for power then I'd suggest getting the exhaust and/or cat changed, but you say it's fine up to a certain point, sounds more mechanical to me. Good service & tappets, see how that is. You can also see if the chain is stretched.
