Key fob battery - getting flat

Hi guys,
Anyone changed their keyfob battery? Does it require to go back to a dealer to "reset" it after a battery change? Mine is going a bit flat and takes awhile in between presses to re-use. Eg - If I lock it, I have to wait about 30 seconds before I can press the keyfob to unlock it.

Yep - Simple swap over is all that is required

Cant remember what type of CTR you have Kamion but if you have a pre facelift with the H & P alarm fob- then this may help you

Yes! I have the same fob as you do. Pre-facelift 52 plate too. I'll take it apart and confirm the battery type. Thanks, Gary!

I just followed a link that Neily posted to ebay and just bought it off there- was only £3 odd for 2 batteries.

I'd bought the replacement "shell" of the alarm fob so thought i changed them both with new batteries at the same time.

Battery arrived from that Ebay seller Neily found - works great now. :lol:

For the record, the battery type is L1022 for the pre-facelift alarm fob with sensors on the pillars.
