KNOCKING / JUDDERING SOUND FROM DASH WHEN BRAKING??

Am hoping you guyscmay be able to help?
I have recently noticed a 'knocking/juddering' sound that seems to be coming from behind the
dash? Right behind the dash pod/speedo area?... It's like the sort of judder you would get under heavy braking when the ABS kicks in?
Only happens under braking but it doesn't always happen? and it I'm not always heavy braking when it happens?..... Just had new tyres fitted on front and got tech to cast his eye over the discs and pads, all looks ok.
This problem was occurring before the tyres where changed.

Any ideas people?

It's what happens when you use caps lock for all your thread titles.

Pull the facia off around the clocks, and check the 3 screws that hold the clocks in place.

I had a problem like the one you have and my clocks had worked themselves loose and were rattling.
