Little advice please.

I didn't know where to put this topic as it's a weird one, mods feel free to move to somewhere more appropiate if needs be.

Is the Mugen gearknob anodised after it's machined?

I have started getting a lot of scratches/wear on it and it's starting to look sh!t. I don't wear a ring or any jewellery so I can only assume that's it's just wear from my hands that's causing it to become tainted. Now it's started to get worn, I would like it to be made as new again, but wanted to know if anyone can advise what to do to keep the standard finish?

You can get them Machine Polished, but where or who to see, I dont know.

Im sure there was a how to on here somewhere.

I could get it machine polished in work one of the lathes, I want it to look as original as possible though. If I were to polish it up it'd look gash imo

Thought Griffin would know, but not sure if he still frequents here or has flounced again :lol:

friend of my brothers makes wheels, he does machineing and sends stuff out for anodising so he may be able to help, drop him an e-mail, asking the question cant hurt
