LSD fitting advice needed

I am having a Quaife LSD and clutch fitted in the next few weeks.

Just wondered if there is anything else worth having done while the gearbox is out? The car is an EP3 with 60k miles.

If you have any noisy bearings, now is the time to get them changed.

Lightened flywheel if funds allow.

Ask to have the box inspected and replace any required items.

Synchro rings are common.

I have the grinding/ transmission noise under engine braking. Would this be related to the bearings?

What improvement would this make? I have the facelift model which I believe came with a lighter flywheel already.

Hi mate, can't remember if you answered this already elsewhere but was the LSD worth it? Noticeable difference for normal driving ie not track.

IMO yes. You wont notice any difference in day to day town driving but on a spirited drive its great. You can feel the car gripping more, reducing understeer and you are able to put the power down much earlier.

It would be even more beneficial as you start increasing the power so could be worth considering after your k100? If you can pick one up for a good price Id go for it.
