LSD standard on a ep3?

iam now about to buy an EP3 and the guys told me it has LSD. do EP's come with slip diff? i didnt think they did?

No, UK ep3's did not come with an LSD as standard. It could be a JDM model which did or they have just fitted an aftermarket one.

yeah thats what i thought, the JDM was standard and the UK ones aint. oh thats okay then. cant complain at a fitted LSD :L

how can you tell if its fitted with LSD? dont want him just saying its got it when it aint!

Jack the front of the car up, and spin 1 wheel, the opposite wheel should spin the same way, if there is an LSD fitted.

If it spins the opposite way its not an LSD.

It would also be worth finding out what make is fitted.

A receipt would be good. Other than that you will have to take his word on it, unless you fancy splitting the gearbox.

Some LSDs will not spin the opposite wheel the other way as Tom has suggested.

Without a true torque bias it'll act as an open diff.
