mandrel bending?

As far as I understand it, mandrel bending causes a much smoother bend in the exhaust which aids air flow, as opposed to a kinked or creased bend which can inhibit flow.

My understanding of mandrel bending is the pipe is bent in such a way that the diameter stays the same throughout the bend. If you just got a piece of pipe and bent it by hand you would actually flatten the pipe where the bend happens.

If its not a mandrel bent exhaust pipe then stay away IMO
