I went to Nurburg for 5 days over the bank holiday and done some(9) laps. This is one of them. I have faster/cleaner laps but I had the gopro mounted on my chin and they didn't come out too well.
It was my first visit to the mighty ring, so my track knowledge is a bit lacking. I loved it though, I can't wait to go back. What a circuit, what a place. I've got Spa later in the year so might take a cheeky trip down there for a day or three. I'll 100% be going next year though.
I seen a little crew of DC2's and a DC5 on uk plates over there, anyone from here? I kept meaning to come and force myself on them for a Honda nerd session but never did. There was plenty of Honda love with flashings of the lights and many thumbs up, much love for the DC5. I can't believe how many heads it turns with the amount of rare and fast metal that populates that place.
Racing driver excuse #763: My gearstick housing took some abuse in the first couple of days and was quite loose towards the end, which is why I missed some gears. Excuse the swearing. x
