Big update!! Car is back and wow can't stop smiling when I drive her. TDi have done an amazing job!
I picked her up on Saturday 28/6 and she got a quick clean at TDi and then I took her for a spin for the first time. First expressions was the noise! It has a sweet burble not too loud but not too quiet at the same time and the when boost comes in the screamer pipe starts screaming. Power delivery is quick and smooth and Paul has worked his magic to map it superbly.
I drove it back 120miles from TDi back to Leicester and I started to hear a few noises, rattle at 2k revs which was screamer pipe rubbing on driveshafts and what sounded like a leak from exhaust. She needed MOT so while that was getting that done i investigated the noises
There was a bolt missing on the exhaust may have fallen off or wasn't one put in!?!
Nothing major and car passed MOT no dramas. Quick wash and wax and a little play with camera.
She's just getting worn in now putting heat through all the new exhausts and pipes so Will have to take her back up in a months time for TDi to tighten bolts up and to check she's running like a dream and maybe a little more boost oh and anitilag!!
