Mintex brake pads

Are mintex brake pads ok for the new shape type r,will they stop the car. £25 for 4???

Seriously, I would just get OEM if you are on a budget, EBC at a push but I've not heard anything good about Mintex pads in CTRs.

The higher spec Mintex stuff is good, like 1144's.

Not at 4 for £25 though. Budget spec only at that price.
