Mintex Brakes????

Does anyone know if Mintex Brakes are any good? im needing a new set and these are popping up on ebay for £160 for a full set??

Mintex generally carry a good rep, but as for specific types i'm afraid i dont know. Did however look for a set for my swift when big brake hunting! But they didnt make any. I wouldnt have any qualms buying them! Just my opinion though!

Would also like to know this. Have seem them much cheaper than £100 as well.

Pads wise, they are good, but depends on which compound it is. I had 1144's in my DC5 and loved them, but the can be on the noisy side.

im pretty keen on them as they look pretty cool aswell as they are grooved and vented!!

at £160 they are a pretty good deal for the set and ill fit them myself!

just wanted to see if anyone knew about them as i hadnt heard before but looks like you do lads so thanks

I read alot of bad things about them - cracking under hard use etc.

I went for brembo disks and stoptech pads in the end
