Miracle carwash

Sorry if this is a re-post but some chav at work paid £30 for this dry car wash.
http://www.miracledrywash.com/ He got it from the shopping channel (sad bast)

I wanted to flame him there & then but I felt it wasn't right as I actually have never looked into it but it seems so wrong to me. I like to do things the old traditional ways & I think a wet wash with some decent car shampoo will never be beaten. Maybe the dry stuff is great for car shows but maybe it's not too kind on the paint work? I've already made these assumptions it will be either too acidic or alkaline. The said chav can't really afford much & he makes stupid impulse buys. He could have just bought a bottle of autoglym for fiver & a lambswool wash mitt for roughly the same.
Anybody tried & tested this product???

My old man bought something like this as well and i have to say i slated him big time for it.......although i have to say after having seen him use it i had to eat my words as it done quite a good job and didn't seem to feck up the paint work at the same time.

That said i'd NEVER dream of using it myself, but i suppose it he's happy with it who am i to tell stop using it. He has a Mondeo st220 if that helps to determine how hard/resilient the paint might be.

Yeah the chav says it's done a top job. A car still needs polish/wax for protection though, & it's time consuming . If I pull out the PC it would take longer than by hand although it can be a better job but I just can't be bothered with it.
