Wish me luck :D

Car is 2002, 76k. gave it a hoover seeing as it`s MOT time. First time in ages, too bloody cold to clean it

Also getting tappets done, sounds like a pound coin is rattling in the engine on a cold morning

Getting it done at an independent garage. Valve clearances are easy enough eh?

You know they don't fail you for having a dirty interior!

I wouldn't have anyone touch my valves apart from either Honda or the Honda specialist garages/companies IMHO.

clearences and tappets are bread and butter stuff. Should be no problem for the garage. Who are you using??
 
Garrow Brothers in Forres. Used them loads of times for adding exhausts, lowering springs, brakes etc

As for using Honda, firstly the dicks scratched my car bad on it`s 72k service, and secondly, the prats never done the tappets!
 
Well it passed after they changed a blown headlamp bulb

As for the tappets, he said it`s just the intense cold making the noise
