I would love one of these, but realistically, where can/would you actually be able to source and purchase one? Also I know they are hella expensive, just curious!

Try the usual importers. Last one I saw come in was in the region of £35k on the road.
 
Best bet would be speaking to an importer.

Price wise you can easily look at 25K+ IMO

That's £25,748.63 before shipping, import duty and SVA test (unless FD2 test can be applied) and prep for UK roads inc speedo conversion, fog lamp, under-sealing, radio etc.

So what sort of money are the Fd2's? I need a bit of educating on these, were they introduced to the uk after the fn2 or what?

FD2s were import only.

Seen them for about £13k up to £16k for a later facelift.
 
FD2's are JDM only, some where imported in new by Litchfields but the rest are grey imports.

You out will be looking at around £17k for a low mileage one imported or £14k for one that's being sold in the uk.
They're rare though.

Several Importers brought the FD2 in as new, including Dicksons of Dunblane/Perth, and were all still classed as Grey Imports. The Yen against the GBP is improving slightly, so prices will hopefully go in the correct direction. However some good examples will still cost in excess of 18k, so buying in the Uk is probably more cost effective, if you can find one?
