My annoying squeak / chirp [Diagnosed]

Messages

I'm booked in at Grinspeed on Monday (5th March) to try and get this diagnosed as i've had this for a while now and its gotten a lot worse, to the point where i don't want to drive for more than 15 minutes, when the noise starts to kick in..

In this video you can clearly hear the long screech when pulling away in 1st and then constant chirping noises when driving along at low speeds.

Any ideas where its coming from so i can ask Stevie to take a look ?

Warped disc? Have you checked to see if one pads hotter than the other after 10-15 mins driving with little breaking?

Definitely brake related, as said heck after a run if one disk is a lot hotter than the rest, indicating a sticking caliper, maybe just needs some copper slip lol

Right I think it's definitely the brakes it's squeaking like crazy and the slightest touch on the brakes and the noise stops.

Also new vid with epic squeaks....

Mine did this and ruined the rear pad and disc on one side. Sticking slider cured by greasing it.

bump , still havnt got a new caliper

thought my luck was in as the noise dissapeared for a few days, so i thought id try and get rid of the other squeaks when i actually brake so put more grease on the pads as they looked quite dry and its not so bad now braking

but the annoying squeak when im driving has just reappeared. DO NOT WANT....

I got the same problem as you but not as bad as yours, what did you do to make it stop before it went back?
