Hey, I'm Sam, just new to the forum. Just bought my first Honda Civic Type R last week and I've loved every single second of owning it!! :lol: It's a 2004 Cosmic Grey EP3. The car is completely standard with the exception on an RBC inlet manifold, a K&N air intake, JDM/premier edition red carpets and an alpine headunit!
So far I've only changed the standard gearknob to a Skunk2 one and given it a full service as it was due one.
Next plans are to change the brakes as the ones on it currently are done, fit braided lines and new brake fluid (any advice on decent brakes would be awesome). Plans for the future are to hopefully fit a Mugen Wing, lower it a little (not to much), maybe think about a new set of wheels or refurbish the standard ones on it at the moment and fit some sort of nice free flow exhaust. Other wee modifications will include new wheel bolts, new steering wheel and snap off boss, new headunit and updated interior speakers as back right is cracked. (any advice on speakers?)
Hopefully these pictures upload alright, and I apologise as they were taken with an iPhone. Hopefully get it washed and some decent pictures taken when this rain holds off a for a while :mad:

Nice looking ep mate. I've got one the same colour and always like to see another grey one. I'm also planning on getting the mugen wing at some point. Keep up the good work.

Update!

Quick Update:

Bought new brake discs and pads for the car and they arrived a few days ago. Purchased Mtec discs which came as a complete set of 4 so might put the 2 rear discs up for sale soon as I don't need them. Hope to get these fitted in the next week or so. Also purchased a Beaks lower tie bar and fitted that 2 days ago.
On the lookout for a set of Eibach Sportline lowering springs next if anyone has a set lying about.

Quick update:

Gave the car a quick wash a few days ago, then replaced the number plate bulbs to orange ones and replaced the standard sidelights to orange ones...




...due to a massive stone chip , it was treated to a nice new windscreen thanks to Autoglass...



Had a free night a few days ago so gave the car a good wax..





Messing around and placed a set of Porsche twist split rims beside it for a picture,




I thought it looked quite cool actually, would definitely be unique, what do you think?

Finally got the new front discs and pads fitted there last night,

Im aware these wont be to everyones taste though I like them and I suppose thats all that matters (and that they work!). Just going to take it easy for a while to let them bed in. Any comments welcome.
 
Keep up the good work mate. It's looking good. I've gotta get new discs and yo rated pads for mine soon and also gonna fit braided lines at the same time. I noticed a good difference when I did all that in my last ep3
