So after owning the car for over a month now I thought it was about time I posted a thread on my first Jap car. I recently sold my low BMW after getting fed up of not being able to drive it properly with it being low on stupid wheels.

After a couple of months of looking I decided on this 2003 Anniversary in Silver. The car was standard except for a back box, induction kit and some tacky carbon. The car needed a little work but that was easily sorted.

Obviously the carbon had to go, it made a mess of the dash but I'd rather look at that tbh

That lasted a few weeks before fitting another set of trims, the starter button came with it and will be wired in the future

Back to the more important bits. After weeks of looking at pics I finally decided to drive down to ABP for some springs ready to fit along with my new drop links etc. Really happy with the drop, drives awesome and I can also get over speed bumps now.

Yes Jonny it's a bit off, only sussed it once fitted but looks miles better for now. I'll be getting the other one sorted properly in the new year.

yeah love the wheels, just need a good tidy.
 
Thanks mate. The scoop was on the car when I got it, looks like it's been cut but not had a proper look yet tbh. I plan to take it off and paint it to match the scuttle more.
 
Just a couple of updates.

Main update is the wheels, bought a 2nd set of Enkei's and had them refurbed in Bronze and added 215/45 tyres this time. My mate Robbo did an awesome job on the wheels, had the caps smoothed and also the inner bit opposite the valve so I could add stickers. The wheels and stickers have also been covered with matte clear coat. When I was fitting the wheels I finally fitted my camber bolts.

very happy with the colour.


Sorted a couple of little other bits here and there. Scangauge, Gearbox Mount Insert and Beaks Copy Brace Thing.

Little update, sold this car over a year back now I think. Managed to get a copy AirWalker lip for it and a rear X Brace before it went.
 
Since selling the car I missed it quite a bit so obviously I needed another one.

Since owning the car I have changed a few things.

Took the Mugen rep wing off. Ran some Grid'a for a bit until they bent.

SW Motorsports 1/2 Bolt In Cage
Scan Gauge
Short Shift
Retrofit Projectors and HID's

Also have a full set of Poly mount inserts to go in and I plan to get some trim in the rear.

Seems a lot of people come back to them :) looks good. Looks.good when.the front windows are tinted. My guy wouldn't do my fronts..

Welcome back! Is it a 30mm drop on those springs? I'm hoping ABP have a Christmas sale this year!
 
Yeah they are addictive cars, they tick all boxes for me tbh. They do look a little odd tbh with just the tinted rears, black ones look a little like a van haha.

haha thanks, the first car is on 30mm ones and the 2nd I'm unsure as they are used ones, they could be the early 35mm ones because I'msure the 2nd car is a little lower. They usually have a December sale don't they.
