Hi this is my civic type r which i bought 4 months ago, looking at getting some new brakes and disks, can anybody recomend any in particular? Does get driven hard most days. And any easy bits to stiffen up the car would he appreciated.

I was looking at the brembo's, they are a reasonable price too so may purchase them soon, i have seen people are talking alot about anti roll bars, any recomendations and the best ones?

Yeah I'm looking to change all four disc on mine soon, recently had all four pads changed to Pagid
I have drilled and grooved disc at the moment and want to change them back to smooth disc as they squeak very bad

The jdm anti roll bars have go reputation
Traders on here can provide them too
 
Thanks for the advice managed to get some brembo disks and pads for a decent price in the end. Hopefully be here next week to stick on that weekend.

How much have people paid for a new timing chain and tensioner etc? Just so i get a rouph price, cheers

Has anybody got a good idea of how to synchronise the key fob, i have put a new battery in it recently but still doesnt seem to work, i have tried the ignition on and off 4 times whilst pressing lock which it does seem to work but when i take the key back out nothing. Any advice would be appriciated.

I have tried this earlier but still didnt seem to work, might have to bite the bullet and fork out for honda too have a look. Thanks though

That's from the 02-03 workshop manual, I'm sure it is the same for the facelift - if it ain't working it may well be a specialist / stealer job :( have you got the other key?
