so far so good.
facelift lights fitted. easy job. forums were saying you have to fit relays and so on but i worked out an easier way so im happy with the results.
roof carbon wrapped.
carbon dipped boot handle with carbon red H.
led floor and interior lights fitted.
engine removed and fully reconned.
green hose kit.
gruppe m. waiting for green intake pipe to match.
poly bush inserts and wishbones, roll bar bushes and uprated droplinks.
ebaichi 30mm drop.
red devil 2.5 cat back exhaust with straight through b-pipe. (very loud, sounds like an r1)
alpine double din with tv and componant speakers and filters all round including type r sub box.
im sure theres more i have missed.

future mods,
frsu including camber adjusters + buddy club extended ball joints.
mugen rear spoiler.
remap. already got a dastek q just awaiting a call from a dastek installer to give me a date to fit.
premier edition front seats and door cards.
skunk 2 gear knob and short shift kit.

this is just off the top of my head. pretty sure theres loads more i want to do but this is a quick post just to see the response i get.
would appreciate you feedback guys and i hope im not alone with this madness. ha.

Thankyou MarBras. I agree with the black. I tried to mix it up a bit with the red rings and red centre R cap. I did have red wheel nuts but they corroded within 6 months so I've replaced them with green. Looks like I'm going to have to paint the calipers green too. ordered owners club stickers with a green R to go on the side windows so hopefully it should look ok.

sounds good mate.
will look good with the green also!!

Agree with the centre caps. I got my alloys painted gloss black, wasn't till I placed the red H on the centre caps that it looked finished!

That sucks about the wheel nuts! Been trying to get a good set of red ones myself but other things keep cropping up or I buy something else instead haha!

So this morning a few of us got together at 7 am and all set off to Malton car show. This was my first meeting so I was eager to show mine off. It was good to finally see the progression I've made since I started modding mine. To be fair I think my ep3 was a cut above the rest.

On the way home we had a little play (within the speed limit) on a straight. Another ep3 in front of me and we both went for it.
Wow. I had to let off the throttle twice. I'm assuming it's down to my gruppe m. The difference was night and day. Really pleased with it and definitely the best upgrade I've made.

That's a right shed
The car on the right in your photos is well smart the other red one
Can tell he has looked after that

Looking good, how much did they set you back if you dont mind me asking, look very good quality indeed!

thanks. all in with postage they were £128 from ebay. this was the cheapest price I could find. ive not fitted them as yet. decided to fit 2 fresh wheel bearings whilst I have the hub off. pointless doing half a job.

Well guys I have bad news.
The Mrs got in my civic yesterday and not 300 yards down the road the engine just shut off and gave a big hiss through my gruppe. The engine management light came on so plugged my diagnostic reader in and it came up with crank shaft sensor. attempted to start her up again and the starter just spun. I new instantly what has just happened. Lifted the bonnet an cranked her over an all the pulleys we're spinning as they should. I couldn't believe it. My newly reconditioned engine has broke its brand new Honda timing chain. GUTTED. I'm mortified. Tried ringing the engine specialist who reconned it and he's not back until Monday so my cars stuck in the street.
It came with a 12 month warranty so he'll have to recover it and repair it. It's not covered 3000 miles since it was done.
i recently found 2 loose bolts on the timing cover a few months back so I'm thinking this guy hasn't tightened the guides up correctly which has caused the chain to fail. I very much doubt for a minute that a genuine Honda chain kit has failed.
theres no words to explain how I feel.
Absolutely wounded.
