My Milano CTR (lots of pics)

Right, just been over to the car and pulled all the led bits off.

One thing I noticed though. The rubber pedals has fell out of the car when it rolled probably. Will they care?
 
clean the car up make it look as nice as possible when insurance come, it will help you argue a better price, and make sure all your tyre's road legal
 
I've pulled the starter switch off, cut the cables at the ignition and just taped it back up neatly. That should be OK? lets face it it wasn't the starter button that made me crash lol

The car is at a garage, I'm actually trespassing when I'm there on Sunday coz nobodys there. So no chance of cleaning it up. It was only cleaned the night before the crash.
 
I wouldn`t worry about cleaning it, that would look a bit suspicious

Check the tyres though, as suggested
 
Front tyres are ok, the rears have about 1mm left on them on the outside, bit more on the inside. EDIT, that makes it sound their illegal. The rears has about 1mm before the wear marks.

EDIT the other driver didn`t stop? Will that affect your claims etc?
 
I only had 1yr no claims, had always been 2nd named driver until I got a Corolla T Sport, I'll probably loose that, dont mind really, 1yr doesn't give much discount to be honest.

Should I claim for personal injury?
 
Don`t know if you can as you have no-one to claim against

You will lose your 1 years no claims too :(
 
Makes me cry too. All ended in a few seconds. I look out the window and see my CTR no there, heartbreaking:(

As I said, I dont mind looking 1yr NCB, if I had 2 then I'd not be happy.

I told the Police it was a Blue Saxo, I didn't get a chance to not his number plate. Hes well and truly buggered off. I haven't seen that car round here before, Id spot him straight away.
 
I just did a quote with Norwich Union on an EP3 with 0 NCB and 1 claim lost control of car. It's the same quote if you chose 1 claim or 0 claims. Looks like I'm gonna be paying an extra £50 - £70 odd quid to insure the same car from now on. So back to square one really in terms of insurance.
 
i cant believe someone wouldn't stop after causing that crash...i mean a slight bump then maybe...but if i saw that in my rear view mirror i wouldn't think twice. How does he know your not dead!!!!!!!

You need to look through a specialist insurer. How old are you? Use one of the sites like go compare.com The insurance companies will phone you up and in many case do it cheaper. I am 27 with 7 years no claims and Noriwch union quoted me £1300 fully comp!!!!!!!!! On your bike. I got it for £484 through quoteline direct!!
