My Type-R #3 - Milano FN2

Treated it to a new clutch today, feels much better!

Well, I've now owned the car for over a year and covered 5k miles. When owning an EP3 and DC5 I wouldn't look twice at any FN2 but I can safely say it didn't deserve the negative press reviews at the time!
There's still lots of things I'd like to change but haven't got round to it. The bodywork still needs some attention and I'd like to replace the front suspension shocks for fresh items, possibly top mounts too.
I've made another couple of changes, nothing drastic though.

I bought some engine mount inserts. Now, I'm no stranger to these and I'm not aiming for race car, so thought I'd try one at a time. Firstly I installed one in the top torque rod - I didn't like it! Too much extra cabin noise and vibrations.. so it was removed and fitted to the lower torque rod - much better! Far less noise and vibrations but with the benefit of less engine movement.

Then the front fog lights were removed and replaced with these:

This month will be kind of boring, service time and rear discs & pads required due to MOT advisory.

Boring update alert!

I had a busy Saturday:

Rear brakes were Stoptech grooved discs and EBC Redstuff pads. I had considered removing the discs, shotblasting/painting and refitting, but cba!! Have never been a fan of EBC either after killing a set on my old fiesta Zetec-s many moons ago!. OEM-spec is sufficient for me, especially on the rear.

While I had a free day (plus the trip to ECP), I also changed the noisy water pump on my little Citroen, which was a bumper off job!
