Hi All
I have always had the standard RE040's on my EP3 but as they are no longer made I am undecided as to what to do. I got a puncture in one of my rear tyres about 3 months ago but had a spare RE040 and so had that fitted. This now leaves me with 3 old RE040's that need replacing.
How much different is the RE050? Would it be ok to put 1 on the rear with the other being an RE040?
Also if it is ok to put 1 RE050 on the rear, would it be an awful set up to have F1 Asymmetric 2's on the front? They sound like a really good tyre and are available at what appears to be good price (£85 each) at the moment.
Any advice on this tyre set up would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Jim
