Went to ADR on Monday to have my new brakes fitted. Had the STOPTECH kit fitted on the front, Powerslot brakes (aka AEM big disc kit) and Spoon pads at the rear, braided hoses all round and Motul RBF brake fluid.
When I first drove the car after the brakes had been fitted pedal travel was really excessive, almost going down to the floor. Got slightly better the more times I applied the brakes on the way home. Carried out the recommended bed in procedure by STOPTECH and what a difference there is now. There is an almost instantaneous response when the brakes are applied and you can feel the potential power that this kit could provide. Haven't really had a chance to give them a good work out due to the crappy weather conditions of late but when I get the chance to I have a feeling that they'll monster the speed off.
Very happy with my choice and would advise anyone who's thinking of buying the STOPTECH kit to go striaght ahead with it. Excellent quality kit.
My highlight of the day though had to be passing a pink StreetKa on the M1 with 'Barbie is a slut' stickered on the side
